My lawrd, call a loved one and tell them you love them. You made it through the 7 layers of the candy cane forest all 31 fun, stressful, gut wrenching, exhausting, demanding days of January. Something tells me February is going to sassy with its short time, Napoleon complex.
Pop Off
Does it feel like the world is falling apart to everyone else? Let’s indulge in less stressy news.
Grammy’s will have Taylor on stage, but that is the biggest clickbait I have heard. Give us a performance!
Do I finally give in and start Nobody Wants This?
If the Real Housewives of New York finale isn’t everything, I quit. Brynn is at the center of a blind item that is the next biggest secret ever. Show me the receipts and timeline, let’s go!
Play by Play
We’ll resume once I can talk about baseball. I hope both teams lose.
Pod Squad
I listen to podcasts so much now, I legit can’t tell if I was talking to a real person about something or if these podcasters are just my friends feeding me a ton of info. As a WFM, just running conversation in the background of my day is good for the brain and heart.
Khloé in Wonder Land (also who knew she was doing the fancy e now)..This was such a pleasant surprise to listen to. Like, going through all the ups and downs publicly but still speaking so highly of partners—even the bad experiences—shows how genuine she is. I’ve already knocked out the Mel Robbins and Jay Shetty pods and took some notes. Okay, fine, I’ll share—Mel drops this gem about jealousy: “You’re not jealous of things you don’t want.” Like, ouch, that hits. I don’t want a yellow Lamborghini, so when that dude drives by, I’m like, “Cool for you.” But seeing creators having a great time on an insane trip? Yeah, I want that. Mel’s currently on her “let them” tour, we can dive into that next time. As for Jay, his advice was to carve out an hour each week to look at what you’re deprioritizing and spend that hour really owning it, figuring out how to do better.
